Our diverse, employee- owned organization is comprised of professional, technical and administration staff in over 30 offices in the US, Canada and the UAE.We areseeking aStructural Engineering Specialist (Bridge design)with0 to 3 years of relevant experience for a position with our Transportation & Infrastructure group in ourHarrisburg, PAoffice.Primary responsibilities will include:Design & analysis of new and existing bridges, including rehabilitation design.Construction document production, including drawings and specifications.Participating in bridge condition inspections and inspections of other transportation related structures, and inspection report preparation.Bridge load ratings.Review of shop drawings.The qualified candidate must possess:Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's Degree preferred).Experience in use of Microstation.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Current driver's license and safe driving record.Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.Ability to perform field work during any time of the year.Additional positive attributes include:EIT/FE certificationFamiliarity with PennDOT structural analysis and design software and plan preparation.Experience in analysis and design of bridges, including rehabilitation design.Experience in hands-on bridge inspection.Experience with AutoCAD, MS Office, Finite Element Analysis.Experience in use in Open Roads, Open Bridge, and Projectwise software packages.HEC RAS and bridge hydraulic experience and scour evaluation.
Compensation Range:$65,343.00 - $85,392.00
