As a Product Manager in Corporate Investment Banking, Emerging Payments, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
This Product Strategy role will play a crucial part in determining the future of JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s global emerging payments. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the firm including Corporate and Investment Bank and Consumer and Community Banking to formulate payment product strategies, inform product approach to regulation and global payment trends, and assist in the identification and development of strategic partnerships. This role provides the opportunity to impact growth and payments capabilities in a new and developing line of business.
Job responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Develop the strategic priorities for CIB emerging payments, serving as an objective thought partner to senior leaders
Collaborate with teams across LOBs and functional areas (e.g., data science, finance, product, marketing, commercialization)
Lead teams in project execution to identify issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions and quantify potential impact to the business. Fill the role necessary to see projects to successful conclusion and drive cross-functional teams
Develop and deliver CEO-level executive communications
Gain detailed understanding of direct product area and cross impacts on products across the firm.
Develop strategy and plans in context of the market and firm-wide initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutions
Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills - ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources
A high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly
Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, startups (FinTechs), investment banking, private equity / venture capital, strategic finance, or similar roles including 2+ years of experience in open banking, embedded finance, or pay by bank
