　　Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption.  Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work. 

　　Job Description

　　The Strategic Data Analyst will work collaboratively to undertake projects that will improve Development’s understanding of the behavior of donors and prospects in relation to MSK, and identify those most likely to be willing and able to provide financial support.

　　

You Will:

Identify and collect necessary information from internal and external sources, as appropriate, and prepare data for analysis, including data transformations and imputation of missing values, as appropriateApply appropriate analytical techniques to explore data and uncover previously unknown patterns, including linear and logistic regression, descriptive statistics, forecasting, and mappingCompile, interpret, and present results effectively in the context of the project, both verbally and in writingFor each project, work with data scientists to consider possibilities for automation and implement as appropriateFollow up on projects as needed to learn from results over time and to ensure that automated processes continue to be effective

You Have:

At least 3- 4 years of experience using statistical analysis in a business or academic situationSolid understanding of predictive modelingIntroductory programming experience with one of the major statistics software programs such as Python and RProgramming experience using SQLExperience working with medium to large-sized databases (1 million rows or more ) is helpfulInterest in and ability to learn new computer programsExperience in fundraising analytics is a plus#LI-HYBRID - Mostly remote, onsite 3 times a year at 1275 York Avenue.
