　　Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption.  Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

　　Job Description

　　The Clinical Genetics Research Lab Name is seeking a highly motivated and successful individual with a background in large scale genotyping data analyses. The successful candidate will lead NIH supported projects such as large multi-institutional exome sequencing to identify susceptibility genes to myeloma and lymphoma. The lab has a track record of discovering novel genes contributing to cancer susceptibility. We also developed computational algorithms that predict pathogenicity from NGS data. The position calls for collaborative research within consortia and ability to assume lead role in more than one project. 　　The ideal candidate should have:  

　　A PhD in Population Genetics, Cancer Genetics, Computational Genetics or related field. Experience with next generation sequencing and significant, demonstrable data analyses skills and bioinformatics knowledge. Database skills are desirable. Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills Peer reviewed publications in the area Desirable: Experience with programming for biological data.
