Who you are:
You are initiative-taking with a strong drive and desire to achieve and to generate new business. You possess the ability to manage and support the identification, negotiation and closure of large sales.
Your experience consists of 5+ years solutions and consultative sales / account management experience, proven success in selling to multiple business functions and strategic account experience with a with proven history of reaching and exceeding quotas.
You are collaborative but are also able to take initiative and work independently and without daily team contact. You possess in-depth supply chain and operational knowledge including business process design capability.
What you will do:
In short, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by supporting a broad and diverse strategic account portfolio. This role entails supporting the primary point of contact for all GS1 US services and managing collaborative efforts across various business units and product lines, with an initial emphasis on GS1 Standards. As part of the roles and responsibilities, you will assist in generating strategic account plans and employ a service-level approach to account management and solution-driven sales. Additionally, this position actively contributes to our Market Development strategy by identifying and delivering innovative solutions tailored to meet our customers' evolving needs, thereby fostering the broader adoption of GS1 US Standards.
You will support all renewal, upgrades, and new business revenue targets. In addition, you will support strategic account management to key customer accounts (individual or groups of customers) ensuring products & solutions support driving short-term and long-term customer business objectives.
Finally, you will coordinate and consult with internal matrix partners to deliver the right solution(s) to solve specific customer problems and achieve customer business objectives. You will identify solution enhancements or innovations to best serve & anticipate customer/industry needs and resolve key account issues (billing, customer service).
