  This Sr Sales Operations Analyst will run sales operations activities for the Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing Commercial team; focusing on implementation and maintenance of highly effective sales tools, workflows, and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the commercial team. This position works closely with the commercial sales, marketing, portfolio management, and internal shared services teams to meet commercial colleague and customer needs for effective operations.

  Key responsibilities:

  Cultivate partnerships with Business leadership, commercial leadership, and marketing to enable sales reporting that will allow strategic decision making.

  Optimize sales team efficiency and performance through providing analytics focused on business performance, customer trends, sales performance, and funnel health.

  Create operational excellence through design and development of C-Level forecasting, pipeline, sales and KPI reports as required by the business.

  Build and execute sales productivity analysis and provide practical recommendations to sales leadership.

  Construct funnel analysis to drive a more efficient and predictable sales cycle.

  Develop and publish weekly and monthly sales reporting mechanisms to highlight key performance indicators and performance trends to commercial organization.

  Deliver business-wide analytical needs across the spectrum of reporting, data visualization, business intelligence and advanced analytics. Support and service all divisional analytical needs across all functional areas.

  Plan and guide strategic sales operations projects, including customer proposals, implementation of new sales support tools and systems, and sales incentive strategy.

  Serve as the liaison between the selling organization and all internal operational groups to ensure collaborative and effective partnerships to drive sales force.

  Lead the development, communication, and implementation of Service Level Agreements for assigned customers with all support functions.

  Project management and hands on execution of sales effectiveness projects

  Coordinate with Practical Process Improvement teams and corporate, to ensure alignment of projects and activities.

  Build and develop Standard Operating Procedures with process improvement, effectiveness, and quality teams.

  Work with Finance and other functions to standardize reporting and find opportunities to provide strategic business trends.

  Understand, collect, and integrate customers’ expectations of operational performance (continuous improvement)

  Translate regional capabilities (system, process, and resource) into realistic commitments for our customers.

  Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  5+ years of experience in Sales Operations/Analytics preferably in Healthcare or Life Sciences

  A bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a scientific field. MBA preferred.

  Proven track record in dealing with highly ambiguous problems and driving simple solutions to complex problems

  Strong familiarity with project management standards and methodologies

  Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills

  Highly analytical, can leverage raw unorganized data into actionable insights

  Experience with MS Office Suite, Salesforce.com

  Expert level experience with MS Power BI or other data visualization tools

  Experience designing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions

  In-depth understanding of data warehousing, vault and data privacy techniques

  Hands-on architect to build analytics platforms and enabling dimensional reporting in an organization

  Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

  Ability to work within a fast paced, nimble, matrix environment and global company

  Change management experience

  Experience with Lean / Six Sigma and equivalent qualification a plus
