Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Controls Oversight Associate in Springfield, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:This client is a long-running financial services company that is rapidly growing. They offer a competitive benefits package that includes a pension plan and 401K. They also pay bonuses and offer flexible hours. This role will work in a hybrid schedule.Responsibilities Include:

　　Monitoring control deficiencies

　　Improve standardization of control deficiency assessment and remediation plan development process

　　Improve efficiency and effectiveness of controls

　　Determine appropriate risk ranking of control issues and implement remediation plans

　　Support testing of internal controls

　　Report on control issues trends

　　BS in Accounting, Finance or related

　　3 years of experience in operational audit, compliance, or risk work in financial services

　　Experience in public accounting or internal audit / compliance

　　Experience with US GAAP or Statutory accounting/reporting

　　Experience in financial analysis and reporting

　　Strong communication skills

　　Advanced skillset in Excel and PowerPoint

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
