DUTIES:? Manage the long and short term planning and day-to-day operations of thestore and related areas? Recommend items and procedural changes? Recommend the budget and manage labor costs within approved budgetconstraints? Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of store, equipment, andrelated areas to ensure a healthy, safe work environment whichmeets/exceeds federal, state, corporate and franchise standards andregulations? Develop recommend, implement and manage the store's budget? Continually analyze, forecast, monitor and control labor and item coststhrough various methods to meet/exceed management/budget objectivesPersonnel:? Monitor staff periodically throughout the shift, encourage productivity,discourage behavior that may be detrimental to the positive atmosphere ofthe work environment? Monitor compliance to job descriptions and "to do" lists? Ensure adherence to policies and procedures in accordance with thehandbook? Make recommendations to the Owner concerning personnel matters? Create a training checklist for new hires? Direct on-the-job training for new hires. Ensure they successfully completethe training before working alone? Discuss disciplinary actions needed with the Owner and assist with followthrough and terminate as appropriate? Resolve informal employee complaints? Maintain effective employee-management communication? Help create weekly schedules for all employees and address any schedulingissues? Help create and maintain a monthly schedule according to store needs? Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting store meetings? Act as a liaison between Owner and team members? Participate in performance evaluations when requested by Owner? Intervene/oversee personnel issues and assist with conflict resolutionCustomer Interaction:? Function as a contact person for customers concerning complaints orproblems that the customer may be experiencing with the store or staffmembers? Make decisions regarding customer complaints independently? Monitor, evaluate, and respond to customer issues as they evolve and try todeescalate whenever possible in the moment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:? High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.? Must have twenty-four (24) months of experience as a Store Manager orrelated occupation.
