Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Central Sterile Technician at our facility you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team is amazing and we consider ourselves a family, we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

·You will assemble all necessary equipment and supplies to meet patient and surgeon needs.

·You will use knowledge of microbiology, instrumentation and hand cleaning techniques of equipment and machines.

·You will be able to print appropriate doctors preference list, assemble case cart and fill requisitions.

·You will be responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators and their monitoring cleaning.

What qualifications you will need:

·American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.

CRCST certification or equivalent experience in all areas of sterile processing is preferred
