Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Entry level position.

Position Purpose:

The Specialist I Editor is responsible for working with cross-functional teams across the Marketing organization to deliver editorial expertise for customer/public content, projects and materials that are factually accurate, high quality, on time and adhere to Gulfstream brand standards. This role, a critical function within our corporate communications team, supports achievement of Company and Marketing strategic goals.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

Edit and fact-check a wide range of marketing materials and conduct research as needed to ensure accuracy .

Edit copy for various customer/external communications across web, print, email, news releases and multimedia .

Edit and proofread marketing materials for style, usage and brand compliance .

Serve as a resource for questions about style, usage and precedent .

Demonstrate flexibility to manage multiple deadline-driven projects .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

Excellent communication, writing and editing abilities.

Knowledge and experience with AP Style guides.

Extremely detail-oriented with superb interpersonal relationship skills.

Is trustworthy, enthusiastic, proactive; demonstrates initiative, adaptability and flexibility.
