Dutiesinvolve: observing and interpreting readings on gauges, meters, andcharts which register various aspects of the system's operation, adjustingcontrols to ensure safe and efficient operation of the system and to meetdemands for the service provided, and recording in logs various aspects ofthe system's operation. Other duties as required.Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Required by the PositionProfessional License/certificate from a government regulatory agency orthird party agency, confirming competence in the operation of high-pressuresteam boilers to 600 BHP and refrigeration to 600 tons.Ability to climb and work at heights, walking and standing for extendedperiods of time, lifting, bending, pushing, and moving objects up to75 pounds. Interpret and work from plans, diagrams, blueprints, shopdrawings, sketches, and specifications.
