The intern will be based at Hills Creek State Park but will have the opportunity to work on assignments throughout the entire Hills Creek State Park Complex. This complex includes several parks, such as Lyman Run State Park, Leonard Harrison State Park, Colton Point State Park, Prouty Place State Park, Patterson State Park, Denton Hill State Park, and Cherry Springs State Park.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employmentThe employment period will occur between the dates of 5/1/24 - 8/30/24.Typical work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with 30-minute lunch.Student may work nights and weekends, not to exceed 37.5 hours a week.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Current full-time enrollment in a two-year degree, bachelor's degree or advanced degree program in one of the following acceptable majors:Park and Resource ManagementEnvironmental ScienceConservationWildlife TechnologyEnvironmental EducationAn approved major course which includes a qualifying 24 credit hours of study in the physical, biological and environmental sciences may be acceptable.Freshman year completed.Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or universityAdditional Requirements:
