　　Purpose and Essential Duties

　　The Plumbing Service Technician III will install and repair all phases of plumbing systems; potable water, sanitary water and vent, natural gas and storm drainage systems in accordance with local and state plumbing and building codes.

　　Specific responsibilities include:

　　All Installation Service Technician I & II essential duties.

　　Establish and maintain clear communications with customers.

　　Service, repair, and install

　　all plumbing systems and piping supports per code.

　　Install and test Backflow Preventers.

　　Install and test Medical Gas.

　　Complete plumbing services in confined space environment.

　　Comply with federal, state, local building and plumbing codes by adherence to requirements.

　　Keep plumbing equipment and tools operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.

　　Be able to test all plumbing systems per job specifications.

　　Lift heavy materials at heights, working on uneven ground, working

　　in the adverse weather.

　　Promote and perform all aspects of Bernhard’s safety procedures and policies.

　　This position is Full Time, Non-Exempt, and reports to Service Manager.

　　Required Education, Experience and Qualifications

　　Skills of level 2 Plumbing Technician in addition to those listed below.

　　OSHA 30 hour–preferred

　　Plumbing License

　　Medical gas license

　　Backflow prevention license.

　　Thorough knowledge and application of local and national plumbing codes.

　　Ability to use special tools and equipment.

　　Must be able and willing to follow job-site instructions.

　　Lift heavy materials and not be afraid of heights.

　　Effective verbal and written communication skills.

　　Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.

　　Excellent multitasking skills.

　　Willingness to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.
