DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an intern, you will assist park staff in various projects while gaining experience in Park Operations, Resource Management, Administration and Environmental Education. You will also assist in the planning, preparation, and completion of specialized park improvement projects that involve other staff and volunteers. In this position, you will be assigned and responsible for specific projects with projected goals and deadlines, which will require a large degree of independent work and initiative to plan, research, collect data for, collaborate, coordinate, execute, and report the completion of the project.

QUALIFICATIONSInternship Requirements:Current full-time enrollment in a two-year degree, bachelor's degree or advanced degree program in one of the following majors:Environmental SciencePark and RecreationBiologyAn approved major course which includes a qualifying 24 credit hours of study in the physical, biological and environmental sciences may be acceptableFreshman year completedGood academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university
Additional Requirements:This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license.You must be able to perform essential job functions.
