　　Job Summary:

　　A Standardized Patient is an individual trained to portray a patient, family member, health care team member, etc. They are employed for purposes of training and/or assessing health care professionals (for example, medical students, residents, nurses) related to interviewing, physical exam, communication, and interpersonal skills.

　　Individuals with an interest and/or background in theatre, play-acting are ideal for this PRN role!

　　• Recall actions and dialogue that may have occurred during an interaction with the trainee.

　　• Provide feedback on interactions with trainees.

　　• Follow directions in achieving the portrayal of patient.
