About Staff/Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

  Description

  Innovative client within the financial services industry, seeks a Staff/Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, preferably with public accounting experience. This role will be responsible for the reporting and financial analysis process including preparing financial statements and reports, assist with general ledger functions, coordinate the annual audit, oversee the processing of accruals, monitor internal controls, and assist with process improvement of new accounting policies. This Staff/Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will also oversee compliance requirements. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong technical accounting abilities, high attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.

  How you will make an impact

  · Generate monthly, quarterly financial reports & statements

  · Account Reconciliation

  · Prepare annual financial statement audit

  · Coordinate internal and external audits

  · Build and establish strong client relationships

  · Cash Receipts/Disbursements

  · Perform financial forecasting

  · Monitor Compliance

  · Recommend areas for revenue generation

  · Assist with ad hoc projects

  Requirements

  The ideal Staff/Senior Financial Reporting Accountant candidate will preferably have a Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance, CPA/MBA highly preferred.

  Other requirements for this Staff/Senior Financial Reporting Accountant position include and are not limited to:

  · 5+ years experience with Financial Reporting focus and FP& A exposure

  · CPA a must, Public a near must

  · Big 4 Audit/SFA combo a plus

  · Any ERP experience preferred
