Argus Consulting is seeking qualified individuals to fill a StaffEngineer Civil position. The position will be located in our OverlandPark KS or Atlanta GA office.
Projects include design, inspection, and asset integrity servicesassociated with the receipt, storage, transmission and dispensing offuels and other hydrocarbon systems and related infrastructure forcommercial airports, railroad companies, military installations and oilterminals worldwide and cover a broad spectrum in size, ranging fromsmall single tank operations to multi-million-dollar fuel storage anddistribution facilities.
Clients include airlines, airports, fixed-base operators, ENRs Top 25Architecture/Engineering Design Firms and ENRs Top 10 Design/BuildFirms, Fortune 500 companies, fuel-servicing companies, oil companies,railroads, and the U.S. government.

Applicant Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years experience in Civil Engineering. Experience withfuels, oil and gas, commercial aviation, military aviation, or railinfrastructure projects is preferred but not required.
Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred, or able to acquirelicensure within one year, with a bachelors degree in engineering froman ABET accredited program.
This position requires an individual capable of applying engineering todiverse fuels/hydrocarbon system planning, design, inspection, analysisand construction assignments.
Successful candidate will have excellent written and verbalcommunication skills along with strong analytical and problem-solvingskills. Successful candidate shall be a self-starter and work well onmultiple project teams simultaneously.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Wordand Excel.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
Job Duties May Include
Civil engineering, planning, design and construction follow-on servicesfor aviation, rail, and terminal facilities and systems at commercialairports, military installations, rail yards and petroleum terminalfacilities.
Assist Lead Engineers and Project Managers in the planning, development,and execution of multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
Project assignments may include; facility/system investigations, conceptdevelopment reports, technical analysis, feasibility studies,engineering design, construction drawings and details, technicalspecifications and other duties common to the practice of ConsultingEngineering.
Assistance in the development of technical standards, procedures anddocuments for each of our market segments.
Professional interaction with Clients and design team members necessaryto prepare and deliver contract docume ts and services of the highestquality, including written and verbal communications.
Provide construction support services including compliance submittalreview, response to RFIs, field oversight, and commissioning.
Design associated with fuel facility, airport, and military programsincluding site layout, grading, vehicle movements, paving, and utilityplans and profiles to include fuel piping, stormwater, sanitary, andwater.
Periodic travel associated with inspections, client coordinationmeetings, troubleshooting, construction site visits, etc.
