The Staff associate is a bilingual individual who will work as a research physician. this person will specifically function in the field work planned in all years of the investigation and will work with the Project manager, to complete the blood drawing and structured medical examinations required for this project. When necessary, will travel to the site for completion of the blood examination, and will insure the transfer of blood to the different laboratories.
Function Knowledge - Knowledge of the research subject and scientific methods of analysisProblem Solving - Utilizes analytical skills to solve moderately complex problems based on guidelines, protocols, and procedures. Decision Making - Works within guidelines to carry out assigned duties in the design of apparatus, the adaptation of relevant technology to the needs of a project, the conduct of specific experiments, and the analysis of dataTechnical Expertise - Ability to operate and maintain equipment, computers, software programs and research tools in support of the project.Communication - Shares information and confirmation of data.The staff associate needs to be able to determine participants who meet criteria for the studies. Should be able to talk to families and expand family history without supervision, plan and execute work trips.
Qualifications
Requirement - Bachelor's degree in specific research field and 4 years experience preferred.
Additional Preferred Requirement - Medical degree (International is acceptable) or nursing degree, Phlebotomy, Fluent in Spanish
