Aston Carter is seeking an AP Staff Accountant for a client based in Naperville, IL.

　　Description:

　　High-Volume Accounts Payable Management:

　　• Oversee and manage the high-volume accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices

　　• Utilize artificial intelligence tools to automate and streamline invoice processing

　　• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoice payments

　　• Monitor AP aging reports to ensure all payables are addressed promptly

　　• Ensure invoices recommended for payment have support of services provided.

　　Process Improvement & Automation:

　　• Continuously identify areas for process improvement in AP, billing, and collections

　　• Stay updated with best practices to bring innovation and efficiency to the department

　　Reporting & Analysis:

　　• Prepare regular reports on AP, billing, and collections metrics for senior management

　　Skills:

　　Accounting, Month end, Journal entry, Accounts payable, Financial statement, Reporting, Gaap, excel analysis, Balance sheet, Financial reporting, General ledger

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　• BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or Business (Required)

　　• 1+years of experience in corporate accounting function (Required)

　　• Proficiency in Excel (Required)

　　• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

　　• Experience managing large amounts of data/transactions in Excel or another analytical tool

　　• Proficiency in MS Office and competency in computer software

　　• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

　　• Must be dependable, able to multi-task and the ability to meet strict deadlines
