We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Director of Data for a Full-Time position.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary professional to join our team as the Director of Data. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping our data strategy, driving market leadership through innovative solutions, and leveraging your blend of business and technical acumen. You will possess a proven track record in human-centered design and enhancing customer experience through data-driven insights. You will serve as an advocate of our data-driven culture, build an effective reporting/data/automation ecosystem that informs and influences business decisions, and provide strategic recommendations on data analytics and automation solutions for federal customers.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives around the delivery of IT-focused solutions using human-centered design and customer experience.
Drive market leadership by identifying trends, opportunities, and innovative solutions through data analysis.
Team Management:
Put together and mentor a high-performing data analytics team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Provide guidance on technical and business aspects of analytics projects, ensuring successful execution.
Business and Technical Acumen:
Translate business requirements into data-driven strategies, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into business processes and decision-making.
Strong understanding of machine learning models, data mining, and statistical analysis tools.
Experience with data visualization tools and databases.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL or Java.
Human-Centered Design and Customer Experience:
Apply human-centered design principles to develop analytics solutions prioritizing user needs, ensuring a seamless and impactful customer experience.
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to integrate data insights into user interfaces, improving overall product usability.
Utilize data analytics to understand customer behavior, preferences, and pain points, driving initiatives to enhance overall customer experience.
Implement feedback loops to continuously refine analytics models and strategies based on customer insights.
Data Governance and Quality:
Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data.
Implement quality control measures to validate the reliability of analytics outputs.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, or a related field.Professional Experience:
Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in the data field with a focus on market leadership and customer experience enhancement.
A proven track record of successful leadership in similar roles.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data analytics tools, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and Predictive Modeling.
Communication and Collaboration:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex analytics concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative approach with experience working across diverse teams.
Innovation Mindset:
A demonstrated ability to drive innovation through the application of analytics in solving complex business challenges.
Experience with emerging trends and technologies in the data analytics space.
