Description

　　Robert Half is currently looking for a Staff Accountant for a company in North St. Paul. The staff accountant is responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

　　Duties/Responsibilities:

　　Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual accounts

　　Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

　　Provide assistance and training to accounting staff

　　Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met

　　Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes

　　Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

　　Assist in financial audits and coordination of the audit process

　　Requirements

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Efficient in ERP systems

　　Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

　　Self-starter and strong ethical standards

　　2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Adeptness in journal entries

　　Demonstrated knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, account/bank reconciliation, etc.

　　Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
