PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

　　Assists the Heavy Duty Repairperson/Welder during the transition of the asphalt plants.May perform structural repair and fabrication using a variety of welding techniques.May perform body and fender repair, painting and glass replacement.Assists with emergency mechanical repairs in the shop or field and troubleshoots malfunctions needing immediate repair.Prepares written reports and records as required.Performs other related duties as assigned.Mental and Physical Demands:

　　Capable of multiple dexterity, climbing, crouching, crawling/lying under equipment.Ability to lift 50 - 100 pounds on a regular basis.Good organizational skills to execute efficient work flow.Equipment Use:

　　Hand and pneumatic tools, welder, torches and forklift.PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS:

　　High school diploma or equivalent.AA Degree in Automotive Mechanics preferred.Mechanical ability and knowledge of hand and pneumatic tools, welder, torches and forklift.Valid Driver's License and Favorable traffic abstract.We primarily employ carpenters, laborers,and operating engineers. We are signatory to collective bargaining agreements with the following unions listed below and are subject to the hiring rules of each collective bargaining agreement. We anticipate hiring for projects on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, and Kauai as work becomes available and will be contacting the respective union to fill these positions:
