Come join the Microsoft Advertising Marketplace team! We are a team of Product Managers and Data analysts located across the world who are responsible for managing the marketplace for publishers across Microsoft first party and third party. Our team manages the Non-Search marketplace focused on Display, Video, and Native advertising. We focus on monitoring business metrics, defining metrics, building analytical & experimentation frameworks, and enabling leadership to make data driven decisions. We work closely with the Engineering team to build and ship the next generation of algorithms and optimizations to deliver the best value to customers and experience to users.
In-order to manage the marketplace this team has to have a deep understanding on the Ads stack as well as a curiosity and willingness to get your hands dirty with data to understand and evaluate key metrics and how our releases impact the business.
We are looking for a Program Manager who can manage our BI assets and focus on building new analytical and reporting tools to help grow our business and scale analyses.
Some of the skills needed to be successful.
Experience in data analysis, data mining, data visualization and modelling tools
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
Manage our data pipelines used to measure marketplace performance. Enhancethem to measure new slices of the traffic and new products being onboarded.
Build new analytical and reporting tools to understand marketplace drivers with ease.
Work in close coordination with Engineering team to understand new ships and ensuring we can measure impact using our data assets and report on them.
Work closely with our centralized BI teams and Tool teams to onboard marketplace requirements to their data platforms and help shape a holistic source of truth BI system
Work closely with peers to understand marketplace BI requirements across our suite of publishers and provide crisp product requirements to our BI team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Business-related field with emphasis on data analytics.
Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience.
3+ years working as program manager.
2-3years’ experience in database querying using SQL.
1-2 years’ experience with data analytics tools like R, Python, Excel, Tableau, SAS, Power BI
