Candidates with the ability to to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close will be preferred. Participation in compliance, interaction with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and reviewing schedules reporting processes are also expected tasks. You will be preferred for this role if you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

　　Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable

　　Organize schedules for monthly payments and capital lease

　　Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process

　　Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

　　Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request

　　Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

　　Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision

　　In-depth experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Participate in various department-wide initiatives

　　Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting

　　Manage depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation Requirements - Ability to meet deadlines

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Efficient in ERP systems

　　Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Proven knowledge of Check Runs

　　Command of Fixed Asset Accounting

　　Well-founded grasp of Internal Control

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience

　　Strong familiarity with month end closings

　　Fixed Asset Accounting experience desired

　　Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Great attention to detail
