　　This full-time Staff Accountant position is with a terrific Non-Profit company. This role's duties will require you to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. To succeed in this role, you will need to be comfortable participating in compliance, interacting with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and reviewing schedules reporting processes. If you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets, you will be preferred for this role. 　　How you will make an impact

　　Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable

　　Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation

　　Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

　　Partake in various department-wide initiatives

　　In-depth knowledge of reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

　　Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

　　Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Oversee depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

　　Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on

　　Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

　　Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision

　　Requirements

　　Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

　　Financial reporting experience highly desired

　　Sage Intacct experience

　　Bank reconciliations experience

　　Solid understanding of month end closings

　　Strong familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains Accounting

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Detailed and have the ability work independently

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Strong analytical capabilities and discernment

　　Proficient in ERP systems
