The ideal candidate for this Staff Accountant position can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. If you can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes, you will succeed in this role. 　　What you get to do every day

　　Compose thorough journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

　　Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

　　Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable

　　Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision

　　Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting

　　Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

　　Oversee depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

　　Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives

　　Handle intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

　　Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

　　Requirements - Recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Self-starter and strong ethical standards

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

　　Great attention to detail

　　Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Proficient in ERP systems

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

　　Adeptness in month end closings

　　Deep understanding of bank reconciliations

　　Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

　　General familiarity with Oracle

　　Demonstrated knowledge of NetSuite

　　SAP experience highly preferred

　　Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　General ledger experience preferred

　　Practical knowledge of QuickBooks

　　Journal entries experience

　　Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills
