　　If you're a skilled accountant and enjoy solving complex problems, Robert Half is currently looking for a talented Staff Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. You will also be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. You will assist in developing and implementing accounting policies. In addition, you will review schedules for the reporting processes, take part in compliance, and interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits. This position is very involved as it will produce Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. This company, based in the Little Rock, Arkansas area, offers a challenging and multi-faceted opportunity where effort is rewarded.

　　The salary range will be $55,000 -$65,000 DOE!

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision

　　Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on

　　Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Arrange schedules for capital lease and monthly payments

　　Participate in various department-wide initiatives

　　Become well-versed in month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request

　　Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

　　Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers

　　Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

　　Requirements

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or equivalent experience

　　Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

　　Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

　　Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Yardi experience desired

　　Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Current and relevant ERP system experience

　　2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
