Description

　　Tingley, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Staff Accountant for our location in Piscataway, NJ. The Staff Accountant will provide financial and accounting information and analysis to key members of the team, along with ensuring the integrity of the accounting information by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Prepare balance sheet and profit and loss account reconciliations and analysis

　　Prepare accruals for rebates and contract pricing

　　Process and reconciliation of intercompany transactions

　　Maintain supporting records of financial statements, including journal entries

　　Prepares and processes journal entries

　　Provide daily cash control, including reconciling all cash transactions to source records; make appropriate adjusting entries daily; reconcile month-end cash balances to general ledger balance

　　Manage fixed-asset records; update electronic records

　　Process A/P clearing for freight / duty charges for USA & CAN

　　Requirements:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (with an emphasis in Accounting) required

　　Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience

　　Extensive knowledge of Excel and Word

　　Excellent communication and organizational skills

　　SAP Software knowledge a plus

　　Possess ability to work independently and as a team player

　　Must be accurate and detailed-oriented

　　Excellent customer service skills

　　Able to prioritize multiple tasks

　　Able to work overtime as needed

　　Must be high-energy and self-motivated
