What is an Inside Sales Coordinator?
The Inside Sales Coordinator will enter orders, received by mail, phone, fax and distribute to respective departments to be filled. Perform customer service activities to ensure accurate, timely information and order fulfillment leading to customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is required to have one year experience in customer service. One year experience in an administrative sales support role is ideal.
Duties and Responsibilities
Enters orders into the system for customers.
Verifies customer purchase orders for pricing, delivery requirements and shipping information.Assists in the preparation of proposals to present company products and services in the most advantageous way. 4. Acts as a customer contact regarding routine product pricing, scheduling and shipping. Assists with expediting activities with other departments. 6. May confer with other departments or initiate tracing of missing or delayed shipments.7. Performs clerical/administrative duties as assigned. Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively.Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English. • One year of customer service experience required. • One year experience in an administrative sales support role preferred. • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of customer management and employees. • Knowledge and ability to use department and Company policies, procedures, standards and rules. • Good understanding of business mathematical concepts. • Knowledge of company systems and software. • Ability to handle routine tasks independently.
Physical and Technical Environment
Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment. • Normal vision and manual dexterity for office duties. • Normal office environment, changing deadlines, project assignments, strict time constraints.
