　　About the Role

　　This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior UX Researcher to join a new team of a product manager, designers, developers and data analysts within ScienceDirect whose remit is to ideate, design and develop new and innovative revenue generating opportunies for Elsevier’s flagship research product.This role is also part of the wider UX group within Elsevier consisting of some 70 UX Researchers, Designers and Prototypers led by our VP of UX and will report to the Head of UX Research.

　　Responsibilities

　　· Running discovery projects to uncover monetisable opportunities

　　· Conducting concept value testing including ‘willingness to pay’ research

　　· Usability testing prototypes and early designs

　　· Providing user insights from research to generate ideas

　　· Managing research participant recruitment to ensure feedback can be collected quickly and efficiently

　　· Be a thought partner for the product manager to progress ideation

　　Requirements

　　· Have good experience of user research planning and execution

　　· Be experienced in a range of user research methods and be open to new techniques

　　· Be curious about the product and context and unafraid to suggest and try ideas

　　· Be self-motivated and comfortable working in a flexible way

　　· Experience of ideating, testing and launching new commercial ideas would be advantageous.
