  Summary:

  In this highly visible role, the Tanker Industrial Manager will drive industrial rate readiness throughout the Value Stream for the Tanker Program.

  Key Responsibilities:

  The Tanker Industrial Manager is responsible for driving the program’s delivery, quality, and cost goals, while also focusing on identifying and mitigating risk in the medium to long term.

  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: delivery assurance, supply chain sourcing and capacity assessments, ensuring timely transitions execution, and driving completion of industrial plans for critical engineering changes.

  Support all program activities with the coordination and maintenance of the program industrial plan with Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs) and Global Supply Chain; part improvements will be monitored through a series of Key Process Indicators and standard delivery metrics.

  The Tanker Industrial Manager will also have the unique opportunity to be the operations point of contact for Pratt & Whitney’s external customers and key program partners. This includes customer facing program industrial reviews, as well as coordinating local and on-site meetings with cross-functional teams.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, procurement, program/project management or supply chain environment or a Master's degree and 5 or more years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, procurement, program/project management or supply chain environment

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience with SAP

  5 or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment

  Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

  Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

  The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
