To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.As part of a hardworking team of diverse, multi-disciplinary engineers, you will be responsible for working across all lunar integrated product teams (IPT) to identify and facilitate execution of vertical integration and product upgrade opportunities in the mechanical and fluid systems domain which includes structural and mechanical elements, cryogenic tanks, mechanisms, valves, pumps, heat exchangers and other fluid control elements. This role is deeply interdisciplinary and requires coordination among a diverse group of stakeholders. This position will report into the Lunar Product Upgrades team that is responsible for lunar product roadmaps, product strategy, vertical integration, and technology development.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Within the mechanical and fluids systems product domain, you will*Work with Iunar IPTs and vehicle program managers to understand execution pain points, and determine where vertical integration solutions can help provide solutions for current and future implementations*Identify cross-cutting capabilities and needs across IPTs; consolidate demand, and formulate efficient strategies for vertically integrating these capabilities*Develop data based vertical integration plans, memos working with our functional support organizations and relevant IPTs*Leverage your supply chain, manufacturing, and product knowledge to inform and drive vertical integration approaches*Facilitate and oversee execution of vertical integration efforts by the IPTs*Identify common hardware solutions across other business units and Blue Origin partners to inform cost-effective product solutions*Work with the IPTs to understand their product portfolio and their longer term applicability, and drive development of their product roadmaps with a focus on our long term goal*Leverage the product roadmaps to develop upgrade plans and strategies, seek approval, and oversee execution of product upgrades and their infusion*Relentlessly look for opportunities to increase performance, enable new capabilities and bolder missions, reduce cost, and reduce cycle time/production time*Drive consistency in our approach to vertical integration and product upgrade efforts*Routinely collaborate with focal in operations, supply chain, and other functions to ensure smooth execution of our current and future vertical integration effortsMinimum Qualifications:*B.S. in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering with 10+ years combined experience in design development, and management of aerospace mechanical and fluids systems*Excellent technical knowledge in mechanical and fluid systems products*Highly Knowledgeable in manufacturing and production techniques, and experience in vertically integration of mechanical and fluid systems products*Highly organized leader with demonstrated track record of resourcefulness, strong business acumen, and bias for action.*Ability to challenge status-quo, break down issues to their fundamental elements, and drive efficient product solutions with emphasis on long term goals and product sustainability*Excellent verbal communication skills to influence a variety of direct an
