The Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in delivering the optimal customer experience by ensuring we have the right product quantities, in the right places, at the right time.This individual will drive inventory inbound and placement optimization programs, and find opportunities to enhance our supplier partners' experience with Amazon.ca's proprietary systems and tools. They will also identify profitability free cash flow (FCF) savings opportunities with internal teams in Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, Finance, and other Retail product families.SUPPLY CHAIN* Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to continuously improve overall cost structure and customer experience* Drive complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability* Work cross functionally to identify and build best practices and process improvements* Drive cross-functional projects to support new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organizationVENDOR MANAGEMENT* Identify, define and execute operational changes with vendors in partnership with Vendor Management team to drive supply chain improvementsAUTOMATION ENHANCEMENT* Work closely with internal teams to drive multi-system process changes* Drive scalable solutions for specific opportunities and issuesWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USA- 5+ years of with Excel experience- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience- Experience Experience working with complex data sets- Experience communicating results to senior leadership- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques- Experience with SQLOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
