As a Welder with Contech you will contribute to America's essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.Why apply?Competitive wages.Opportunities for overtime.Company provided benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, disability, Company paid life and disability benefits, paid vacation and 401K.About the RoleResponsibilities:Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist ,chains, etc.Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.About YouWe Require:High School Diploma or GED.Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, and Stick welding.Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.Ability to work with precision instruments.Good attention to detail and organizational skills.Technical training or welding experience strongly preferred.About UsEach day brings new challenges at Contech, and we make sure you are prepared for it all.
