Systems Administrator role in the Contact Center Technology arena. Responsibilities will be to proactively monitors, analyzes, and resolves issues in lab environment. Works with architecture, labs, other operations support teams and cloud tenants to maintain maximum stability, performance, and security for current environments and future cloud environments via AT&T DevOps philosophies. May include responsibility for overall operations and integration of OpenStack and Kubernetes based clouds. Subject matter expertise in the following but not limited to server hardware, Linux, Windows, monitoring, VMware Subject matter expertise may also include the following: database administration, software-defined storage, software-defined networking, cloud computing and container orchestration systems.
Day to day Responsibilities:
1) Ensure continual service availability.
2) Troubleshooting and resolution of lab problems.
3) Provide incident response/ management and root cause analysis.
4) Proactive development and implementation of monitoring systems.
5) Maintains and continuously improves tools, ad-hoc
scripting and automation infrastructure for configuration management, maintenance, testing, auditing, problem remediation and capacity planning.
6) Collaborates with and manages vendors to drive defect resolution and enhancements for internal customers to meet departmental or enterprise business needs, in addition to providing extended support as needed. Conducts routine hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Qualifications - External
Skillset Required:
Well Versed in Red Hat Linux Administration
Well Versed in Windows Server Administration
Well Versed in VMware vCenter Management
Well versed in Scripting with Shell, PowerShell, MySQL, Perl, HTML, JavaScript, XML
Well versed in Network TCP/UDP protocols (SSH, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SIP, TELNET)
Experience with Cloud Computing platform such as Microsoft Azure.
Experience with troubleshooting with Wireshark.
Experience with Oracle Database Administration and Query language
Experience with SQL Server Administration and Query language.
Strong Communication/Written Skillsets
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems , or Mathematics Experience: 8+ years of experience with 2+ years of relevant experience in majority of the key skills required.
