Provide direct and indirect supervision to team executing procurement and logistics assignments.
Serve as the secondary Vehicle Coordinator for all of Substation Operations, providing driver qualification management, driver training & safety facilitation, and vehicle administration.
Attend and participate in Company's Vehicle Operations Committee meetings alongside Section Manager and formulate vehicle coordination strategy for Substation Operations in line with the Committee's charter.
Develop long-term contract procurement strategy for Substation Operations projects and programs to save costs, shorten lead time and support team's overall productivity.
Plan, organize, schedule and assign team members to tasks to optimize productivity, under both normal and emergency conditions.
Participate in planning the transportation of major equipment, including large power transformers.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, including individual substations, Project Managers, Substation Security, Central Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, and Facilities & Field Services and Environment, Health & Safety.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including vendors, agencies and peer utilities.
Identify and deliver procurement-based cost savings for Substation Operations by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including those for security.
Complete assigned and supplementary EH&S and skills training and monitor same for team.
Conduct vendor relationship management meetings to improve quality and reduce risk and cost, including through billing and performance dispute resolution.
Participate in ad hoc activities in support of the department, including vehicle, computing, and telecom resource coordination.

Perform other related tasks and assignments such as supports to department needs as required.
Assist with the onboarding of new hires for Substation Operations, which includes but is not limited to scheduling SSO Orientation Day and setting up training sessions with The Learning Center.
Required Education/Experience
Associate's Degree and Related discipline and experience, 6 years experience includes procurement, logistics and/or inventory management and other relevant work experience Procurement procedures and systems. Must have presentation skills, PC application skills (Windows 95, Word, Excel, Internet, etc) or

Relevant Work Experience
Strong technical use/knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Required
Strong technical knowledge/use of Oracle Finance and Supply Chain, P-Cards, stock and non-stock supplies Required
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required Required
Must demonstrate a strong commitment and focus on providing good customer service Required
Experience with the Oracle Business Intelligence application Required
Field experience and knowledge of the electric distribution system Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Driver's License RequiredPhysical Demands
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday
Stand to use/operate office equipment for the duration of the workday
Other Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed
Must be able to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment when required.
Must be available to participate in off-hour emergency response activities.
