　　Disney is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Commerce/Growth/Identity Fraud team. You will be working on mitigating risk by building solutions to identify, prevent and catch payment fraud and contribute to the expansion of our risk platform. You will also build services powered by our machine learning team, various third-party services, and other global data sets. This role is highly multi-functional and gives the opportunity to work with Product, Information Security, Data, Analytics, Business Operations, Finance, and various other functions across the company as we seek out fraud throughout our systems. You take pride in being responsible for your features, focusing on quality, reliability, and scale, and are mindful of maintainability.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Build sophisticated and highly impactful systems

　　Write code in Kotlin, Java, Javascript, React

　　Use AWS products and services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, RDS, ElastiCache, Opensearch, CloudFormation, etc.)

　　Develop RESTful services

　　Work with SQL and NoSQL

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　B.S. Computer Science Degree or related field of study

　　5+ years of experience in a technical field

　　Functional programming experience with Java

　　Previous experience taking ownership of features/functionality

　　Previous experience creating well tested services

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills

　　Ability to investigate any technical component as well as understand and contribute to overall systems architecture

　　The hiring range for this position in New York City, NY is $142.516 to $191,180 per year; the hiring range for this position in Santa Monica/Burbank/Glendale/L.A., California and in Bristol, Connecticut is $136,038 to $182,490; and the hiring range for this position in San Francisco, California is $148,994 to $199,870 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
