  Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

  CARS is glad to be supporting the Foundation Sustainment Services (FS2) contract that will establish the acquisition framework for delivering the full scope of information technology services and capabilities to support the Information Technology (IT) sustainment services for the Foundation GEOINT Integrated Program Office (IPF) and the FG capabilities/services in support of the NGA’s Source Operations & Management Directorate’s Foundation GEOINT Group (SF).

  Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions is looking for a Sr. Scrum Master to join our team responsible for the integration, operations, and sustainment of various operational and in-development systems. This position will manage multiple systems projects focused on delivering the next generation of Geospatial Intelligence technologies to our customers. The effort will harness GOTS, COTS, and Custom technologies to deliver advanced production and dissemination capabilities using desktop, web, and cloud technologies.

  Responsibilities

  Work you’ll do

  As a Sr. Scrum Master within our Foundation Sustainment Services ( FS2 ) team, you will:

  Drive the daily execution of an agile project teams

  Help define, document, and track the completion of Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Bugs

  Run agile meetings such as daily scrum, retrospectives, and planning

  Protect the team from over-committing and scope creep during sprint planning.

  Assist in estimation and sub-task creation.

  Lead and capture feedback and generate action items during sprint retrospective meetings.

  Work as the administrator of the scrum board.

  Ensure that the tasks are up to date in the scrum tool and that the selected tools are working well.

  Meet individually with team members and stakeholders as needed.

  Assist in ironing out team disagreements about processes and work styles.

  Consult team members on how best to work within a scrum team.

  Assist Product Owners with collecting reporting metrics to better provide status.

  Aid the scrum team by eliminating any external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process improvement.

  Other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience OR

  Master’s degree and 6+ years of prior relevant experience OR

  High school diploma or GED equivalent and an additional 4 years of experience instead of a degree

  Active Top Secret clearance and the ability to achieve TS/SCI with Poly post-hire

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.

  Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

  Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.

  Agile Development knowledge and experience.

  Problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to pay careful attention to detail.

  Capacity to work well in groups and the ability to lead a team.
