ResponsibilitiesThe Director of People Operations is responsible for developing and executing Seattle Children People Operations strategies and Initiatives. This role works in close collaboration and partnership with the VP of People Operations. This role ensures continuity of People Operations function that aligns with organizational strategic objectives, and ensure compliance with accreditation, contractual obligations, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements. Guide and lead People Operations team on employee relations and labor relations matters. This role is responsible for managing Labor and Employee Relations within the organization to include developing and implementing labor relations strategies, negotiating labor contracts, resolving disputes, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The Director of People Operations is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading policies related to SCH's Leaves and Accommodations process. This includes leading various types of leave programs and align with state and federal regulations. Responsible for supporting, managing, communicating, implementing, and evaluating Seattle Children's Compliance and Regulatory efforts by managing and coordinating all immigration related processes. Maintains Seattle Children's Workforce Diversity and Inclusion efforts through AAP/EEO plan maintenance and compliance. Ensures continuity of People Operations function that aligns with organizational strategic objectives, and ensure compliance with accreditation, contractual obligations, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for supporting, managing, communicating, implementing, and evaluating the strategy for Seattle Children's Workforce Align People Operation team with HEAR action plan. Partner with senior leaders and their organizations to align with organizational goals around Labor and Employee relations and compliance. Manage and coordinate all immigration-related processes to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations. Support employees and the organization with immigration-related matters. Manages and evaluates Seattle Children's compliance and regulatory efforts.RequirementsRequired Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or other related field or equivalent education and experience.5 years of progressively responsible HR management.3 years progressively responsible program management experience in a combination of Diversity and Inclusion leadership.Demonstrated ability to lead in an environment of rapid change.5 years Healthcare experience.Experience with Quality Improvement systems.Required Credentials:N/A.Preferred:Masters degree in related discipline.Employee and Labor relations experience preferred.Professional development related to diversity and inclusion best practices.Experience with Physicians and providers a plus.Experience with a medical academic and research environment.Min to Max Hourly Salary$71.61 - $107.41 /hrMin to Max Annual Salary$148,948.80 - $223,412.80 /yrSalary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
