Job Description

　　Insight Global is searching for a Roku Developer to join the team at one of our largest entertainment clients in New York City. This person will be responsible for architecting, developing, and launching Roku products. They will utilize Brightscript for development and have experience building applications for the platform while having a background within core development. They should have extensive experience with Unit testing utilizing Rooibos or Roca testing frameworks. They should have worked on an application that has advertisements and use RAF- Roku Advertisement Framework for SSAI or CSAI ad insertion. They should have experience building and deploying CI/CD pipelines, working with TVE & living room technologies. Testing should be apart of their day to day development. This person can sit fully remote but must be an active team player and ability to communicate with other developers to meet shared goals and create a friendly and welcoming environment.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　- 6 + years of overall application development experience

　　- 4+ years of experience developing Roku applications using Brightscript utilizing Scenegraph framework

　　- Experience with Unit Test Framework -- Rooibos or Roca (NOT Roku test framework)

　　- Experience with video integration for applications with ad insertion using RAF (Roku advertisement framework) and SSAI (server side Ad insertion) OR CSAI (Client side Ad insertion)

　　- Exposure to ABR video streaming technologies HLS, DASH

　　- Experience building and supporting TVE applications, Video player/playback and building CICD pipelines

　　- Experience using Github for version control, unit / integration tests and Charles Proxy null
