　　JP Amazon Grocery Fulfillment (GF) owns warehouse operations (called as Under-The-Roof, UTR) including forecasting, capacity management and program management for Amazon Fresh business, which provides same day and next day grocery delivery service to the Kanto region of Japan as of 2023. We are looking for a talented and proactive Senior Program Manager to lead establishment of cost-optimal operation model, executing strategic cross-functional activities with various stakeholders across process/rule to technology. The Senior Program Manager embodies an ownership and a responsibility to deliver remarkable result via transparent project/stakeholder/risk management, negotiation with senior leaderships and prioritization. The role is located in Tokyo, Japan.

　　The Senior Program Manager will own entire programs to improve variable cost reduction via Tech enhancement, process improvement leading benchmarking study with EU/NA and be responsible for: 1) Establish overall operational strategy and focus area in GF program, getting an agreement with senior leaderships across Japan and EU, 2) Lead critical initiatives and experiments (e.g. further optimized operation/delivery model establishment as grocery logistics) and 3) Manage cross-functional programs, collaborating with internal/external multiple business partners (e.g. Business, Finance, Tech, EU/NA counterpart, Compliance, Engineering/Facility)

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Establish overall operational strategy and focus area in Grocery Fulfillment (GF) program, providing a long-term perspective and high level context for business/technology choices with considerable risks and trade-offs.

　　Design the ideal process, rule and mechanism via understanding the inter-dependencies of the business/operation problems.

　　Deliver new and critical solutions to the GF model getting an agreement from teams with competing priorities in joined up solutions.

　　Set a clear plan with measurable success criteria, and lead the project involving multiple teams and communicate the progress and outcome clearly.

　　Manage the lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program, collaborating with internal/external multiple business partners (e.g. Business, Finance, Tech, EU/NA counterpart, Compliance, Engineering/Facility)

　　About the team

　　JP Amazon Grocery Fulfillment (GF) owns warehouse operations (Under-The-Roof) including forecasting, capacity management and program management for Amazon Fresh business. JP GF is a part of Amazon Grocery Logistics organization in Japan, which covers Amazon Fresh and Grocery Partner (GP) business as of October 2023. JP AGL contains of the following three pillars: 1) GF, 2) GP and 3) Multi-Business Support (MBS) including e.g. last mile Delivery, Sustainability. Each of three pillar leads are reporting to INT6 (EU+JP) senior leaders.

　　Tactical collaboration work with multiple organization stakeholders is the key for success.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree

　　8+ years proven experience in Consulting, Business/Operation development, or Program/Product Management in diverse/international environment

　　Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success

　　Proven experience delivering results by partnering with and influencing others through global collaboration

　　Ability to effectively manage relationships at senior levels in both internal and external stakeholders

　　English: Business level (Level at which business emails and meetings can be facilitated)

　　Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), e.g. ability to analyze data extracted with own queries, using VLOOKUP and pivot.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

　　Ability to challenge preconceived norms, drive consensus and accelerate growth while improving efficiencies

　　High degree of organizational ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

　　Experience in running a business or product line with P&L accountability

　　Japanese: Business level (Level at which business emails and meetings can be facilitated)
