  Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for a Sr. Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4) to join our F-35 Finance Team. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA and offers the flexibility of a hybrid telecommute schedule with 2-3 days in office weekly.

  Looking for a financial analyst with strong FP&A skills that will be the lead of a large and fast-growing business area within the F-35 program. This person will be the Business Manager's right-hand person in all financials and profitability assessments. Development of the AOP/LRSP to establish assumptions on future SOW and develop 5-year plans and lead discussions with the Program and Business Managers on how to meet financial goals (ie. Awards, Sales, Margin etc). Coordinate financial impact of recent EAC updates and/or potential EAC updates and provide financial analysis and insight to drive EAC decision making.

  The F-35 Program is a fast paced, dynamic, and complex environment that requires a candidate to possess self-initiative, strong analytical skills and steady leadership characteristics. Candidate will have the following, but not limited to, responsibilities:

  Essential Functions:Interfacing with program finance and program office for monthly financial forecasts, issues, concerns, and statusDevelopment of AOP/LRSP for business areaManagement of financials, including: financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, profitability analysis, and PBP and cash analysis.Perform CLIN redetermination analysis to calculate profit at the CLIN & CLIN Group levelUpdate quarterly F0-219 Profitability Packages for applicable CLIN Group booking rateTracking spending to ensure adequate funding is maintained, financial metric development, & analysis and reporting in support of monthly program reviewsPossess the ability to prepare and provide weekly/monthly analytical reports and tools to support variance/trend analysis and change control managementSupports all related program auditsFostering an environment of integrity, establishing relationships, and maintaining communication with stakeholders at multiple levelsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 10 years of Finance, Accounting, and/or Business-related experience OR Master's Degree and 8 year of business management experienceExpertise in financial analysisCandidate must have an understanding of, and adherence to, company policies, procedures and internal controls (e.g. Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), NG System Description requirements, etc.)Candidate must be comfortable in collaborating in matrix organizationsContain effective communication skills for interfacing with CLIN ManagersExperience with IFAS, COBRA and SAP / BW (OLAP) QueriesMS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:Proficient in Deltek Cobra (or similar EVM tools such as MPM) & MS ProjectEarned Value Management Program Experience with familiarity to EIA-748 ANSI EV Guideline Reviews and SOX ControlsWorking capital analysis (accounts receivable forecasting, treasury forecasting, unbilled analysis, and aged receivables analysis)3+ years Earned Value Management experienceAbility to Create and Edit Excel Marcos, Pivots, and Slicers tools We offer phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly collaborative workplace.   Salary Range: $109,900 - $164,900

  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
