　　KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Tax - AMCS (Renewable Energy) to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Develop and provide knowledge in federal tax credits including but not limited to: Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Production Tax Credit (PTC), IRC 48D (CHIPS), Advanced Manufacturing Production Tax Credit (IRC 45X), Qualified Advanced Energy Project Credit (IRC 48C), Employee Retention Credit (ERC), Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), Federal Disaster Tax Credits; and other emerging federal tax creditsAssist with Tax Credit design and implementation of projects for the credits listed aboveCalculate and document credits through preparation of contemporaneous technical documentation, technical memoranda, quantitative workpaper preparation, and moreEstablish project management framework, communication protocols, and establish data management systems for information management; provide regular communication and project management oversight services during the full project life cycleProvide support for method reviews and assessments by assisting with the designing and implementing of projects related to revenue and expense recognition, capitalized items, fixed assets, and inventoriesSupport new business development, including add-on business, while sustaining excellent client service by networking within the firm and building on existing relationships outside of the firm; offer quality assurance, engagement review and exam support; supervise and aid in the development and training of employees; develop and mentor Associates and Interns

　　Qualifications:

　　Minimum two years of recent tax renewable energy credit experience in a public accounting firm, engineering, or corporate taxation groupBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, or a related fieldProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PDF, and PowerPointExperience performing tax research, tax credit, reading case law and familiarity with the internal revenue code and associated regulationsExcellent oral and written communication skills; able to handle multiple engagements and client service teamsAbility to travel and work at client locations
