  Are you ready to help the Space Force evaluate and prepare to leverage space systems of the future? The person selected for this position will support planning and execution of Integrated Test and Tactics Development of Orbital Warfare Systems in partnership with Space Force's Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM). The successful candidate will provide technical analysis and test planning and execution support to integrated test teams focused on fielding capabilities. Their roles will include being a member of an integrated test team, providing requirements analysis, tactics development, and evaluation criteria for orbital warfare systems. And they will provide insights related to opportunities to integrate contractor test plans, development test plans and operational test plans to speed fielding of relevant warfighting systems.

  This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO and primarily supports customers in Colorado Springs and Los Angeles, CA. The work does is not compatible with teleworking.

  What You'll Be Doing Work collaboratively as a technical advisor to Integrated Test Teams, in developing test designs and test plans, with follow on support to executing the plans and supporting post test analysisProviding experience-based support to developing, implementing and analyzing results from rigorous integrated development test and operational testPerforming operational analysis of warfighting operational requirements and concepts of operation to build Measures of Effectiveness, Suitability and PerformanceGuiding a team of SMEs providing analytic support to defining critical test conditions based on modeling, simulation and analysis needs and validation, verification and accreditation requirements. What You Need to be Successful for a Project Engineer

  Minimum Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical field8 or more years of progressively responsible professional experience with Orbital Warfare, Electronic Warfare, Guidance and Control of Space Systems, or related technology, development and/or operationsExperience with acquisition of USAF or USSF operational systemsExperience working in teams to accomplish a systems engineering resultStrong verbal and written communication skillsThis position requires a current SSBI and possess (or be immediately eligible for) a Top Secret SCI clearance and a SAP/SAR clearanceAbility to work in the office, this position is not compatible with telecommutingAbility to travel domesticallyIn addition to the above, Senior Project Engineer requires the following:12 or more years of relevant technical experience in Orbital Warfare and acquisition, analysis, operations and/or program management.Proven ability to work within integrated Government, FFRDC, and SETA teams.Demonstrated strong technical leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills.High level of creativity, initiative systems thinking, and innovation.How You Can Stand Out

  It would be impressive if you have one or more of the following:BS in Electrical Engineering and/or advanced degree in engineering, mathematics, science, computer science, or other technical disciplineExperience with range operations, data fusion, or simulation over live (SOLD) capabiltiiesExperience with assessment and/or performance analysis experience, definition of test requirements/objectivesExperience planning and/or executing live, virtual or constructive testExperience with space operations or related military disciplineExperience working large, complex issues and the ability to break down problems into meaningful steps to accomplish with a teamFamiliarity with Air Force/National Security Space enterprise architecture Current applicable SAP/SAR accessesWe offer a competitive compensation package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

  $113,150 - $148,050 - $202,500

  Pay Basis: Annual
