Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Network Engineer in Dublin, Ohio, United States. The role primarily revolves around supporting our network infrastructure, including the implementation and support of security initiatives for IOT and OT devices. This position also entails deploying, modifying, and supporting routers, switching gear, servers, firewalls, and cabling. It is a long-term contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Implement end-to-end network infrastructure solutions, including routers, switches, wireless AP’s, and controllers.

• Maintain the lead role for individual deployments within a larger project and execute established guidelines.

• Collaborate with other technology teams to achieve project objectives.

• Provide post-deployment support and troubleshoot issues as they arise during or after deployments.

• Analyze network traffic, including infrastructure performance to ensure high-quality connectivity.

• Create detailed and accurate documentation in support of the implementations.

• Participate in the development of policies and procedures to achieve team and project goals.

• Utilize monitoring tools to analyze network consumption at sites.

• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make independent decisions.

• Learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.

• Work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.

• Implement tactical solutions that result in measurable business benefits.

• Employ scripting skills, like Python, when necessary.

• Communicate effectively, including formal presentations utilizing PowerPoint and Visio. Requirements • Strong proficiency in networking protocols and infrastructure such as switches, servers, and deployments.

• Proficient in the use of network monitoring tools and configuration management.

• Demonstrable skills in troubleshooting network issues and ensuring security.

• Experience with workstation support and implementing strategies for network enhancement.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills in the English language.

• Proficient in making presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Ability to execute procedures and policies for network management and quality control.

• Knowledge of Python and other computer sciences relevant to the role.

• Experience with internet technologies and their applications in networking.

• Capability to support benefit functions related to network operations.

• Ability to travel for work as required.

• Experience in facility management in relation to network infrastructure.
