Position Summary
The Sr Manager, QA Engineering (IC) is a key individual contributor to lead strategic QA initiatives and driving adoption of test automation and other QA engineering technologies around Regression and End-To-End. As a tenured QA technologist and leader in the organization, you will use your skills to drive, support QA managers, analysts, and automation engineers to ensure the highest quality application deliveries to production.
Additionally, you will have overall QA ownership of regression and end-to-end functions on medium to large initiatives spanning multiple teams and systems and collaborate with leaders/teams across the enterprise.
Key responsibilities include:
Actively manages overall QA delivery of Regression and E2E for medium/large projects and initiatives; drives and supports enterprise end-to-end testing as required; assures quality, time to market, and cost objectives are consistently achieved
Assign and balance appropriate Quality Engineer’s/SME to support Agile environment. Work with Quality Engineers across other teams to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products for committed objectives.
Manage expectations and communicate effectively with cross function leaders across Engineering, Architecture and Product.
Manage and encourage new ideas from Quality Engineers to foster improvements through innovation. Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives or best practices to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality.
Promote and participate in the exchange of learning across the team and organization.
This role can be based in Richardson, TX office or other locations IL - Buffalo Grove
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of QA delivery within an enterprise software development domain• Extensive track record driving team-wide adoption of new QA technology and trends including BDD and QA test automation, RPA, and model-based testing
• Proven ability to apply understand of complex distributed system/application concepts to ensure QA delivery of enterprise initiatives involving multiple disparate systems
• Advanced technical knowledge on QA industry tools (ex. UIPath, BDD Automation, Selenium, Cypress, Rally etc.)
• Ability to keep focused on long-term, strategic goals while executing against short-term objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
• Extensive Pharmacy, Benefits and Clinical Systems, or other Healthcare experience
• Engineering Center of Excellence (Tools and Processes).
• Cloud Testing Experience
• Oracle, Java, Angular JS Experience
• Dev/Sec/Ops
• CI/CD
• Proven experience as a change agent and driving shift to automation
• Experienced working with onshore and offshore colleagues\contractors

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
