PRO safeguards every financial transaction across all Amazon sites, while striving to ensure that these efforts are transparent to our legitimate customers. As such, PRO builds the operational processes that minimize risk and maximize trust in Amazon.com.

　　The Payment Risk Mining Investigations (PRISM-I) team is the function within PRO that is tasked with identifying risk patterns in the buyer space while working closely with the Analytics and Machine Learning teams to ensure seamless resolution to difficult & complex cases across Amazon. PRISM-I plays a critical role in reducing bad debt and providing operational insights into bad debt drivers through clustered investigations and reviews of fraudulent activity at scale. The PRISM-I team is deeply knowledgeable of fraud indicators and the platforms and tools required to initiate decisions in bulk. The Chargeback Global Process Owner (CB GPO) team is the group within PRO that oversees the strategy and roadmap for manual recovery initiatives as well as customer and seller experience within the dispute resolution lifecycle. The CB GPO team is necessary for ensuring disputes are assessed accurately to reduce bad debt and ensure proper fraud signals are available for upstream logic improvements.

　　PRO is seeking a senior leader with experience in operations, investigations, fraud evaluation, and/or audit specialties for the role of Sr Manager to lead a team of 150+ program managers, risk specialists, and risk managers. The ideal candidate will have experience providing coaching and guidance to a team based on key performance metrics and a proven track record of driving results based on delegation through team members. The Sr Manager is responsible for creating and implementing a vision and strategy for the team while leveraging cross-collaborative partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Data Science/Machine Learning teams.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　• Minimum 10+ years of experience working in relevant industries such as operations, investigations, fraud evaluation, audit, legal, or customer service

　　• Minimum 6+ years of team leadership in a globally matrixed environment

　　• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

　　• Bachelor degree

　　• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　• Experience engaging and influencing senior executives

　　• Masters degree

　　• SQL proficiency

　　• Coding language proficiency including Python or R

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
