　　Power and Controls Aftermarket is currently seeking a Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management within the Rockford and Phoenix MRO, including accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and internal control compliance.

　　This position is a hybrid position located in Rockford, IL. This position may be eligible for relocation.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Oversee the timely and accurate completion of the month-end and year-end closing processes.

　　Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions, including but not limited to: financial analysis, cost controls, accounts payable / receivable, headcount and labor reporting, warranty, capital, inventory, and operational metrics.

　　Maintain and strengthen the control environment including managing Sarbanes-Oxley and other control related activities, adherence to company policies and procedures, and developing and documenting business processes and accounting job instructions.

　　Coordinate, prepare, and communicate financial forecasts including identifying and managing risks and opportunities to achieving financial forecasts and plans.

　　Provide overall financial support and guidance to the Rockford / Phoenix Repair businesses.

　　Act as a business advisor to support the repair center GM, WWR GM team and P&C Aftermarket team.

　　Assist in supporting the IATA I Repair finance activities and initiatives

　　Manage a team of two accounting professionals; provide training, guidance, and career development.

　　Employ CORE techniques to improve processes and activities that strengthen control environment and/or enhance business unit financial performance, including cost reduction initiatives and capital appropriations.

　　Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

　　Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Accounting or Finance Degree

　　Experience in managing a business unit P&L and balance sheet

　　Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and effective control environments

　　Supervisory experience

　　Experience with ERP system (SAP preferred)

　　Experience with HFM

　　The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
