Landscape Laborer. 9 temporary/full-time positions with Bluebird Lawnand Landscaping, LLC from 4/1/2024 - 11/1/2024.
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools orequipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which mayinclude any combination of the following: sodlaying, mowing, trimming,planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, mulching, weeding, raking,gardening, edging, planting, on-site installation/maintenance of largecaliper trees and shrubs,lleaf removal; assisting with installation andmaintenance of irrigation systems, such as in ground residential andcommercial sprinkler systems for watering turf areas and plants. This isrelative to trenching, backfilling, and shoveling work for performingthese installs. Workers also perform maintenance on the in-groundirrigations systems such as replacing broken heads and valves;installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units,installing rock gardens, decorating garden with stones, debris cleanupas part of installation or service process. Load/unload equipment;cleanup debris as part of installation or service process; clean andmaintain equipment/tools when not in use and ensure proper storage atend of day. Entry Level; requires supervision.
Must lift/carry 65 lbs., when necessary. Saturday work required, whennecessary.
On-the-job training will be provided to the worker.
Employer pays in advance or reimburses workers in the first workweek forall government-mandated and visa-related fees (excluding passport fees).For non-local workers (i.e., residing outside normal commutingdistance), employer reimburses inbound travel costs at the 50% point inthe contract (unless paid in advance). Inbound travel includestransportation costs from workers permanent residence or place ofrecruitment, a daily meal subsistence (based on rates required by law,currently \$15.46 per day minimum or \$59.00 per day maximum for workerswith acceptable receipts), and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable.Travel reimbursements based on least-cost common carrier rate. Employerprovides or pays outbound travel costs upon completion of the contractperiod or early dismissal, except where the worker has subsequentemployment.
Employer guarantees to offer hours equal to at least three-fourths ofthe workdays in each 12-week period of the total contract period,beginning with the workers first workday and ending on the contract enddate or any extension thereof. Employer may count all hours worked, aswell as any hours offered within the standard work schedule that aworker chooses to not work, up to the maximum number of daily hours onthe job order.
Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to paymentfor outbound travel costs or the full three-fourths period guaranteedescribed above.
Employer provides without charge all tools, supplies and equipment(incl. uniforms, if applicable) necessary to perform duties assigned. Ifrequested, employer helps non-local workers secure optional worker-paidlodging.
JOB LOCATION:
149 Business Centre Cir Driggs, ID 83422 and multiple worksites withinTeton and Fremont counties.
Employer provides incidental transport between job sites. Employeroffers free daily transportation to/from worksite from designatedpick-up location. Use of transportation is voluntary.
WAGE INFORMATION:
Wage rate is no less than \$17.91 per Hour. Overtime hours vary at:\$26.87 per Hour.
Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at employer\'s discretion, based onindividual factors such as performance, skill, and tenure. A singleworkweek will be used to compute wages due. The payroll period isbi-weekly. Workers are paid by check on Friday. The standard workschedule is from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Employer will offer 40 hours per week. Employer may offer more than thestated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and otherconditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exactworking hours.
Employer makes all payroll deductions required by law. Employer does notenvision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Voluntary deductionsmust be pre-authorized in writing and may include the following:Employer deducts reasonable fair market value cost of rent/utilitiesbased on number of occupants for workers electing to reside inemployer-provided housing (cost TBD). Employer may deduct retirementplan contributions for workers voluntarily participating in plan.
