We offer the most comprehensive digital engineering expertise and client-centric methodology for sustainable innovation.Location: Columbus, OH, USA (Remote)You must be legally authorized to work in the USA without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Roles/Responsibilities:* Working closely with customer IT team for design decision making and KT calls.* Working closely with offshore team for handshakes both ways.* Collaboration with other teams in the portfolio for integration points / APIs.* Participate in sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-up calls, retrospection, and all other agile ceremonies.* Testing support, code promotion and UAT support.* Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.* Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems.* Ability to thrive in a team environment.* Design decisions and helping Team to adhere to it - reviews to be done to ensure adherence.* Code reviews for performance and security.* Helping team troubleshoot day-to-day integration issues with other applications.* Participate on behalf of Cognizant team in scrum of scrum meetings and resolve dependencies.* Formulate code check-in policies in enterprise GIT. Recommend appropriate Tools / accelerators for the team.Required Qualifications:* Application Design and development in FSD (Java 8+, Spring Boot 2+, AWS Code Deploy, Angular 9-12)- At least 8 + years experience required.* Experience and deep understanding of Java 8+, Spring Boot 2+, Angular 9-12* Good Communication skills.* Prior working experience with offshore is nice to have.* Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of software development principles and coding best practices.* Knowledgeable in front-end web development technologies and techniques.* DevOps & Cloud- Apigee, AWS (Rancher/ Kubernetes), GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, CI/CD Pipeline.* Technology depth and experience with designing, building, and supporting APIs.* Passion and ability to coach and mentor junior developers.* Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to help drive the best technical direction and decision making.* Able to apply experience to recommend the best technical direction for efforts.* Drives cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams.* Problem solver and out of the box thinker.* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.* Strong commun
